For some time now I have shown interviews that I did with my celebrity friends on www.westernstarstheater.com. The project is called “Along The Trail.” We also show OLD Western movies and TV shows on that website. We will continue to show the movies and TV shows but we are moving the interviews to this, my website.
All you have to do to see the interviews is click on the Interview button just under the slideshow of family pictures towards the top of this home page.
I really hope that you enjoy the interviews. I know that I had a great time filming them. Several of my friends have passed away since we filmed their interviews at the Lone Pine Film Festival in California. We lost the wonderful Ben Bates (former Marlboro Man and James Arness’ double for 22 years) last year just a few weeks after we filmed his interview at Kanab, Utah’s Western Legends Roundup. I have been very lucky to know such wonderful people and to have been invited to such super events.
We also did some filming around Ft. Worth, TX, last year. Along with these interviews, we will show some clips from an interview conducted by Maxine Hansen of Gene Autry Productions and the wonderful author and biographer, Holly Day George, where I am the interviewee(?). This project was done for the archives of the Autry Museum.

It’s a good idea, it will make things easier to find things especially when we want to watch them a second or third time.
These little interviews are full of valuable history and info and great stories found nowhere else. I’ll look fwd to seeing your interview as well soon, I love the Roy and Dale stories best of all!
